Following 3 days of industrial action ATL, NASUWT and NUT are organising a Community Demonstration to Save Kenton School turning into an Academy. The Governing Body of Kenton School have consulted of their intention to convert into an Academy and the staff, parents and local community are opposed to it. The Governors are meeting at the school next Tuesday, 4 October 2011 to make the decision.
